    ● Set up the mise-en-place in stations for the various meal periods in accordance with performance standards. ● Prepare food items according to the standard recipes ● Prepare, check and taste the food before the service. ● Train employees including the Commis i, ii and iii. ● Ensure that all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and that there is minimum damage while in use. ● Ensure that operating standards are followed for all equipment in use. ● Maintain high level of cleanliness at all times in the kitchen. ● Store food items properly in the fridge with correct dates and labels as per HACCP and Health and Safety procedures. ● Keep food items and fridge tidy and clean at all time. ● Check that the temperature is within guidelines. ● Check and arrange the working area before leaving. ● Check quality and quantity of requisitions from the Commissary / kitchen as directed. ● Understand and adhere to the Company’s policy relating to hygiene, fire and safety. ● Display courtesy and professionalism at all times. ● Minimise wastage of all food items ● Bread down mise-en-place station at the end of meal periods and store the food away properly ● To work according to the menu Planning specifications set by Chef ● Preparing all the special guest orders ● Responsible for hygiene FIFO with date expiration in the kitchen ● To communicate to his direct Supervisor in all relevant and important matters ● Handling a la carte room service operations and the mise-en-place. ● Making Buffet theme oriental ,indian, italian, asian, continental, british,seafood night and the mise-en-place. ● Preparing Buffet for banqueting and coffee break. ● Responsible for Ordering on daily basis. ● Able to work under pressure. ● Hard work loyalty and good command in English language
