    YFU is a non-profit organization that offers you the possibility to work or study a year, semester or summer in a foreign country.

    At the age of 16, I participated in an summer exchange program in Germany with YFU. After my high school studies were completed I undertook a one-year exchange in Sweden for one year.

    Back in France, I currently volunteer as a Communications officer for YFU France (the french national committee) in my region (Pays de la Loire).

    I am responsible for reaching out to potential host families (and raise interest for hosting an exchange student), as well as youth that are interested in participating in a study abroad experience.

    I also serve as a contact person for an exchange student from abroad in France, in order to ensure his/her experience runs as smoothly as possible. I am also responsible for making sure that the necessary information reaches the host families.
