Working in both strategic and tactic levels, I have been involved mainly in: - Board Member: evaluation of P&L, new business opportunities identification, management of the relationship with the local Qatari partner (member of the royal family). - Leadership Sponsorship division: legal requirements to set up the new companies, negotiation of fees and scope, advice about doing business in Qatar, JV strategies to be prequalified for projects. - Human Resources - 800 employees in Qatar: with the HR Manager, supervising and executing the recruitment processes. Company policy and incentives definition. Block visa management. Management of visa and legal requirements for all the employees. Supervision and direct communication with recruitment agencies locally and abroad. - Business development: sales management of the manpower and the consultancy division (Spain, Qatar and UAE). Increment of the client’s portfolio, preparing quotations and tenders, contracts negotiation and management of the relationship with key clients. Business Development Representative of 4 Spanish Government offices in Qatar (sectors:Oil & Gas, Power, Engineering, Construction, Education, Health, Contract – Furniture and Food Industry). Achievements: Increment of the company’s profit in more than 150% and reduction of the direct costs and overheads more than 15%, certification ISO 9001, recruitment of 300 employees, increment of the block visa with 200 new visas, creation-development of 3 new business areas (sponsorship, business center and Company Set up Legal Services), organized more than 50 business trips for Spanish companies in Qatar and the UAE.

Key accounts management and increment of the company’s portfolio. The main sectors I have worked are: food, wine, footwear, furniture, oil & gas, construction, engineering, power. Creation of a new business area: ARGOS Wine Consulting, focused in Public Relations and marketing plans for the wine industry. Achievements: From 2005 to 2012, increment of the turnover of the company in more than 200%. Expansion of the global network opening 10 new offices: USA (West Coast), Mexico, Chile, Russia, Poland, Hungary, Sweden, Qatar, EAU and India. Tendering and sales of more than 10 large international marketing projects, one of them a triannual marketing campaign for the wine industry in China of more than 2.5 million USD.
