Engineering Officer

 Supervising Engineering team in the absence of the Assistant Chief Engineer and Director of Engineering.  Assisting in managing the physical plant including equipment, refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, water treatment, electrical and steam boiler and clarifier systems.  Carry out the routine service and regular maintenance of the Hotel’s electrical, mechanical, plumbing systems and other Hotel equipment and elevators and monitor their efficiency and utilization.  Assisting in effectively planning, scheduling and evaluating preventative maintenance programs of boiler, clarifier and generator.  Preparing monthly reports - HLP Analysis, Complaint analysis, training records, preparing shift schedules-, Man power planning, Leave Planning for all the staff, job allocation, Log books reports and ensuring smooth operation of Shifts.  Regular walkthroughs to review maintenance issues throughout the Hotel to prioritize, troubleshoot or schedule work accordingly.  Maintaining accurate logs and records as required.  Handling guest problems and complaints effectively.  Providing feedback to employees based on observation of service behaviors.  Reviewing team satisfaction results to identify and address employee problems or concerns.  Ensuring property policies are administered fairly and consistently.  Receive, prioritize, delegate and monitor housekeeping and other requests made by other departments in the Hotel.  Training to all staff regarding First Aid & Material Requisition Procedure.  Maintaining/Updates departmental "Check Book"/expense log, cross-references to budgetary guidelines for analysis of operating efficiency and bringing discrepancies to Director of Engineering's attention as needed.  Generate purchase requisition and route to appropriate manager/department.  Store stocks inventory, receives delivery and keeping the documents.  Preparing work orders, annual maintenance contracts and rate contracts and machinery’s service schedules to follow-up.
