A massive drive to achieve and exceed goals has taught me to set priorities on the various aspects of the leadership role while maintaining a helicopter view. Due to my strong background in operations, it allows me to engage the team in driving guest satisfaction with proven top 10 results. I am highly engaged in the revenue process yet profit has my full attention. While the commercial aspect of the hospitality industry drives me, my communication skills enable me to be heard within the various levels in the organization, segments and with external contacts. Collegiality, respect and commitment are very important to me. So is celebrating success. I am socially conscience and involved in my work force, which helps me to understand the employee and positively utilizing the qualities of the individual to maximize team performance. Knowledge and transferring knowledge are in my opinion one of the most important leadership traits. These characteristics have always been appreciated and created the opportunity for others to advance. Through my experience in the various areas of the hospitality industry, I am all-round and familiar with the specific aspects of each department. My role in the community is one of involvement and representation. Supporting local charity and job aid for young talent. My relationship with owners has always been excellent. Because I have been given an insight into owners’ interests, vision and objectives I was able to successfully shape hotel organizations while guarding the interests of all stakeholders; employees, guests, owners and brand.
