My training in housekeeping has taught me that guest needs must not just be met but exceeded and I strive hard to manage my team to work towards this goal. As a hardworking and diligent individual, I am proficient in managing all work that this post entails including managing daily operations in terms of maintaining cleanliness, service and product quality along with ensuring all standards pertaining to guest rooms, public spaces, restrooms, offices and banquet halls are met to the highest of standards. I am highly skilled in providing training to housekeeping teams so that they perform in accordance with hotel standards thus ensuring that complaints are minimized. Observe and inculcate the discipline in my subordinates, as well as working with minimal supervision. Ensuring that guests are happy and have all the necessary essentials that they require for a great stay in the residence

    •To ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation are maintained throughout the hotel ensuring required standards are constantly met •Prepare all staff working schedules for the department through the weekly forecast, and to allocate these to staff as appropriate. •Implement periodic cleaning schedules, including spring cleaning and deep cleaning, ensuring that agreed productively levels are maintained. •Planning, organizing and directing team members to ensure the highest degree of guest satisfaction. •Conduct daily inspections of all rooms and public areas. •Take responsibility for all staff uniform, their issue, cleaning, upkeep and control. •Manage staff rotas in accordance with hotel occupancy as well as staff holidays, sickness and absence. •Carry out other tasks as needed and directed by the Director of the operation from time to time. •Build and maintain positive relationships with all internal customers and guests in order to exceed their needs. •Take action to address these needs in order to exceed their expectations. •Create a positive hotel image in every interaction with internal and external customers. •Adhere to hotel brand standards. •Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge in order to explain and sell services and facilities to guests. •Assist guests and escort them to locations within the hotel at their request. •Maintain knowledge of special programs and events in the hotel in order to recognize and respond to guests needs. •Maintain current Hotel information to be able to provide information to guests. •Implement procedures which enhance the guest experience. •Diagnose problems and thoroughly analyse information to guide decision making. •Evaluate and assimilate critical information when reaching conclusions and make logical competent decisions.
