I have more than 19 years of experience working in the hospitality industry with 6 pre-opening Hotels. Presently I am working as an EAM for Accor Hefei, 3 hotels (Pullman, Novotel & Mercure) with 1570 rooms and 9 f&b outlets, providing clients with the highest degree of hospitality and customer service by ensuring that facilities meet and exceed expectations.      Implemented new standards throughout the property with a primary focus on customer service.  Daily inspections of the Front & Back of house areas, guest rooms & overseeing wedding, functions, banquets and parties, etc. Successfully managed day-to-day Hotel operations to achieve optimum performance, profitability, and 100% guest satisfaction. Management and supervision of all operating departments.  Assisted in developing marketing strategies with sales for rooms and F&B including banquets. Developed special event packages to maximize Hotel revenue due to which there was an extra 7.6% revenue growth in the Food & Beverage revenue. Revenue management that lead to increasing Average check in the F&B outlets by an overall 13%.  Managed all areas of the hotel in accordance with brand standards to achieve superior guest service and product quality by weekly walk thru with the Director of Engineering, Director of Culinary, Front office Manager & Housekeeping Manager.  Increased hotel profitability to a net 12% by controlling expenses (manpower, food & beverage cost, etc.) and finding new channels to improve revenue  Driving the sales culture in the hotel through active involvement in the sales process to improve Negotiated Corporate business, increasing it by 20% year after year. Responsible for marketing of hotel as well as cooperative ads with different packages and restaurant.

     Implemented strategy to improve sales of outdoor events like wedding, parties, etc. resulting in 31% increase in revenue and a 7% increase in profit.  Improved total food and beverage costs by 4.9% through menu engineering and instituting new inventory control measures.  Improved associate satisfaction scores over prior year in all food and beverage departments.  Achieved budgeted profit flow through each year despite of the location through outside catering, Changing the concept in the western restaurant & Chinese restaurant.

     Directed all aspects of food and beverage operations for this hotel generating revenues of over 100 Million RMB including a restaurant, bar, lounge, room service, kitchen and banquets. Held full P&L accountability and managed direct and indirect staff of 310.  Implemented departmental strategies and maximized the financial performance of departments. Ensured high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits and ensure outstanding customer service.  Consistently achieved positive sales and guest counts year over year.  Developed and managed food and beverage annual budgets including capital expenditures.  Worked closely with Executive Chef & Outlet managers to focus on best practices to provide the best possible work environment and foster growth.  Implemented a quality training program, valuing employee contribution, creating incentives and turning performance into compensation and company goals. Significantly reduced management and staff turnover.  Improved overall operations including food quality, quality controls, employee morale and overall profitability.
