My job title is as camp coordinator at Granite Contraction Company based in Abu Dhabi and am responsible for implementation of food safety and Haccp rules, monitoring ccp, suggest corrective actions, train employees on food safety basics and rules; receive food processing raw materials according to food safety standards, carry out internal audits, reporting incidents, action plans, food safety violations, and issues to HSE manager and Managing Director; help and consult the site manager to improve the site from food safety and health and, safety point of view.
Iam conducting a food safety and hygiene inspections at five food outlets (On shore & off shore) establishing corrective and preventive action plan and moreover as an employee welfare committee leader, I conduct employee welfare committee meetings, writing minutes and action plan scheduled every month in all the food establishments as per the company procedure.

My responsibilities include: • Leading employee welfare committee meeting, writing minutes & establishing corrective action plan. • Responsible for maintaining the highest level of food safety system, hazard analysis, elimination of hazards, setting of CCP’s & records. • To ensure all food served to employees are free of microbiological, chemical & physical contamination & all work area conform to the minimum requirements set by local health authorities. • Conduct hazard analysis for each process & implement a strong food safety management system. • Implementing Pre-Requisite Programs (PRP’s), HACCP plan, Operational Pre-Requisite Programs, (OPRPS)-Standard Operation Procedures & (SSOP’s) • Conducting Quality Audit Inspections monthly internally for four food units (on shore & off shore) to ensure the code objectives are fulfilled. • Monthly routinely check if the employees are following SOP’s & monitoring CCP’s. • Maintain proper records of the HACCP system and HACCP Plan. • Conduct supplier audits & coordinate for any food safety related issues • Coordinate with the HSE DEPART’ for any food safety issues. • Be a part of the HSE management team meetings. • Carry out & ensure food safety hygiene, HACCP trainings to workforce and core team members, in house trainings for all food handlers. • Liaison with external accredited laboratories for food analysis for chemical & microbiological parameters & ensure results within acceptable limits. • Ability to protectively identify the areas of improvement & potential problems to ensure smooth functioning & participation in audit procedures. • Ability to provide objective feedback for improvement in performance of team. • Ability to lead team members to understand and follow the continuous improvement concept. • Ability to understand of the mission & values of the company.
