I see myself as a ‘world citizen’, having lived and adapted in four different countries. Born in India and after spending the initial years there, due to my father’s career movements, I grew up in Cambodia for four years and then in Thailand for eight years. Upon my IB graduation in 2016, I took admission at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia and moved there. However, I realized that being a people’s person, I would better suit the Hospitality Industry and so returned to Thailand end 2017 to pursue my undergraduate program in Hotel Management at Dusit Thani Institute.
Living and experiencing different cultures wasn't initially easy, but as I grew older I realized I had to adapt to my surroundings, which has enhanced my living experiences.
My school education of twelve years at a reputed IB World School has been a very exciting experience of meeting and interacting with different nationality students.
I can today boost of a wide friends circle of Indians, Japanese, French, Americans, Brits, Aussies and many more nationalities. Understanding this culture diversity is my strength and of course, I am a go getter. In addition to English as a native speaker, and the good understanding of the Indian languages of Tamil and Hindi, I have studied basic Spanish for two years at my IB school, as well as learning basic French in my undergraduate program. Cultural diversity together with language knowledge is an important aspect in my success in the Hospitality sector.
My internships at D&B and Future Factory during my study years at the IB School were enriching in learnings and experience.
I easily adapt to new surroundings, have a leadership approach in problem solving and take a bold attitude in all situations.
