I worked previously on a start-up project in the center of Durban, South Africa. The project is aimed at providing a 5 star Hospitality Service for the Advocates in a newly developed professional sector, within close proximity to the Magistrate Court. I am often underestimated due to my age, however I have had to work hard to achieve everything in my life and given the opportunity, I am certain I can supersede expectations with my strengths. My strengths are my Work Ethic, Adaptability, High Performance/Standards, Staff/Guest relations, Creativity/Innovation, Cultural Awareness, Emotional Awareness and Extensive Knowledge of Work Psychology of the Hospitality Sector.
I am a passionate individual that does not believe in limitations and functions best when I am under pressure. I enjoy creating a happy working environment and enjoy training others who have a thirst for knowledge equivalent to mine. I work well as a member of a team or as an individual and strive for perfection in both scenarios. Overall I believe that each interaction; be it with a guest or staff is a reflection of myself and my work ethic. I know my capabilities and am eager to prove my worth. I have had extensive experience in the Food and Beverage, Housekeeping, HR and Accounting sectors and will be happy to show my passion for my industry.
I have completed my Bachelor of Administration in International Hospitality Management, Honors Degree, through Stenden University with a minor in Advanced Wine Studies. Prior to studying I worked in the Middle East first in Qatar and then in Dubai. I began my career fresh out of high school as an Admin Assistant and within a year I held the position of Facilities Assistant Manager by the end of my 2nd year I held the position of Assistant Property Manager. I am passionate about the hospitality sector and have proven my ability to be a true leader.
