    Working in a busy mine site catering environment,serving hot breakfast and dinner,clearing tables, general up keep of the kitchen and dining area. Serving food to residence and helping the cooks in the preparation of food including breakfast,lunch and dinner. Mopping and cleaning floors of kitchen and associated areas of the dining room. Washing of dishes,pots and kitchen utensils. Ensuring that service and kitchen areas are clean and tidy. Storing away deliveries of vegetables and meats. Reporting all incidents and accidents to supervisor, Catering Manager and or Head chef. Helping to provide tasty,nutritious and well balanced meals,record fridge temperatures. Assisting the chefs with basic cooking when required.Make up sandwiches, and salads for staff,visitors and buffets. Giving a comprehensive briefing and handover to the next shift. Ensure that all standards are maintained relative to security,maintenance,health & safety and cleanliness of the dining room. Topping up and rotating fresh fruits using clean dixies regularly and ensuring kitchen,crib and dining room areas are cleaned at all times during service. Clean and replenish all sauces and bottles on the buffet station and in the fridges. Wipe down all bench tops,crib tables,soup stations. Replenish bread,butter,margarine,plastic bags,plastic cutlery,and any other crib supplies. Refill salt,pepper shakers,serviette holders,and coffee containers. Clean and top-up coffee stations. Replenish biscuits,cereals,tea,coffee,sugar,replenish and top up cordial and drink machines daily. Ensure all other dining room facilities are clean,tidy and fully stocked. Maintain a clean and well-presented kitchen and dining areas i.e ensure crockery and glassware,utensils,chairs and tables are cleaned and condiments are refilled and cleaned. Ensure bains are restocked,cleaned and presentable during service. Prepare the dining room for service as well as all other duties assigned by the Head Chef. Clean Pot,Dishes and Utensils Adhere to and follow all company rules and policies
