Sound experience in HR and end to end payroll activities including statutory payments, gratuity, full & final settlement as per the labor laws and company policies. Hands on expertise in reviewing and evaluating the existing payroll process, systems & control to ensure its effectiveness and efficiency. Well conversant with UAE labor law, cash flow, HR activities as well as recruitment process. Ability to plan and schedule overall compensation & benefits activities to ensure timely, accurate and error free processing of salaries with expertise in handling entire employee life span, including promotions, up gradations, transfers, annual revisions and full & final settlements.

    • Set-up & manage the HR department by developing and implementing all HR Policies, strategies and procedures for group of companies. (approx 1600+ employees). • Taking care of all recruiting needs - this includes developing and updating job descriptions/requirements, preparing job posts, shortlisting, interviewing and selecting candidates. • Implement and develop policies regarding work conditions, performance management, disciplinary procedures, and absence and vacation management • Responsible for the entire payroll process for approx. 1600+ employees covering the Bilal Group of Companies thru WPS process and acting as a key interface liaison between Finance/Payroll and HR Departments • Implementing compensation & benefits programs, monitoring salary structures, balance staffing needs with cost controls, and help ensuring that procedures are in alignment with the organization’s overall strategic objectives and HR vision • Evaluating competitor compensation and benefits packages, creating policies and procedures, monitoring the payroll interface to ensure compliance and data integrity, and managing third-party HR vendor resources • Working closely with the Management to provide feedback on related HR functions and processes, ensuring accurate data collection and analysis, as well as maintenance of accurate employee records • Preparing annual salary increments proposals, promotions and variable pay concept note as well as guidelines in line with compensation philosophy defined for the year, generating various MIS reports to support, management analysis queries, general accounting and audit • Ascertaining effective communication, designing, evaluating and modifying benefits/ reward policies to ensure that policies are current, competitive and in compliance with legal requirement and educate employees • Supervising the employee leave records process in coordination with the Payroll Team & HRD, analyzing compensation policies, government regulations, and prevailing wage rates to develop competitive compensation plan • Reviewing payroll data for accuracy, and organizing the Payroll Team to coordinate with bankers to make arrangement of immediate opening up of bank accounts for new employees & timely start salary transfers for all employees • Scrutinizing & verifying the monthly salaries & trips payment vouchers & expense booking entries and ensuring their accuracy & allocation of the right expense hears • Gathering and analyzing data, preparing reports and recommendations on certain special assignments/tasks given based on Payroll by the Chief Accountant/Financial Controller/Finance Director • Accountable for overseeing overall HR functions including, employee engagement, leaves, attendance, PF, ESI, Workers Welfare Fund administration, regulatory policy and procedural requirements applicable to human resources transactions • Coordinating for the follow up of Visa Application for the New Employee, managing and maintaining staff personnel records in a database and conducting employment satisfaction survey and employee engagement survey. • Maintaining corporate responsibility by staying up-­to-­date with laws that affect human resource training programs and explained human resources policies and procedures to all employees. • Downsizing administrative and other functional costs through continual improvement and streamlining processes and procedures to meet ultimate organizational objectives by introducing HR Best practices • Implementing procedures and policies for new staff, Monitoring the Daily Attendance along with scheduled absences such as holidays or travel and document expiry of all Employees, including visa, passport, insurance, cert & license
