In a team of five people, our mission was to find the unmet needs of the chefs in Shanghai and build B2B prototypes for the Michelin Guide China to solve some of their issues. In partnership with Yeast Consulting, we conducted number of interviews with the Shanghai F&B actors to better understand the market but also the main axes of development the Michelin Guide China is based on. This project is the first of its kind for the Michelin Guide. Based on the challenges we had and the issues we found, we built two different prototypes. An online channel broadcasting special events including several actors of the F&B in China and an app in partnership with a digital giant.

Starting an hospitality school after a business bachelor, I had a lack of knowledge of the operational aspect in restaurant industry. Between september 2018 to today, I have decided to learn it by myslef. From commis in hotel, runner in brasserie to waiter for caterers, I finally reached the position of chef de rang in gastronomic restaurant. This experience taught me how to act in face of customers, how to deal with unexpected requests and events the strictness and precision of a michelin star restaurant.
