    Duty manager primarily focused on the reception department. To use discretion and tact when dealing with guest enquiries, problems or complaints in an efficient and professional manner without detriment to the Hotel or its reputation. Work with HR department to resolve employee issues and complaints. Perform general office duties such as (sending/answering emails, phone calls, filing/electronically inputting forms, checking in/ out guests, creating reservations and organizing tour info/ room cards on arrival. Set-up and attended company meetings as required on a daily basis. Handled all conditions such as solve customers’ inquiries, and provided customer requirements when needed. Delegated clerical and administrative functions to front office staff, ensuring adherence to established guest service standards. Ensured the provision of personalized guest service, coordinating with all departments to meet their requirements, and to resolve any complaints Analyzed, investigated and resolved guest complaints Coordinates monthly staff meetings that address any outstanding issues and record the minutes as well as record the agenda. Screened, hired and trained new employees Assisted the management of scheduling and payroll for department ensuring that the department operates according to budget. Very proud of being the most senior manager in charge of coordinating President Higgins official welcome home party within the Hotel Meyrick, as well as meeting and greeting the president and all VIP’s before directing the function on the night.

Have the overall responsibility for ordering linen, soft/ alcoholic beverages and stationary items for the hotel on a weekly basis.
