KEY ACCOUNTBILITIES
•Spearheading Engineering Department and reporting to GM & Regional DOE in regards to plant, machinery, life & safety equipment and other engineering related facilities
•Developing & maintaining all Fire & Safety features, equipment and controls, responsible for performance management and creating and maintaining departmental guidelines/ procedures and ensuring compliance
•Accountable for managing the project by defining project scope, quality of work, maintenance of schedule, budget and profit margins, from commencement to close-out
•Devising and implementing environmental, health and safety policies across the organization complying with international standards, best practices and legislative requirements
•Directing & driving all emergency fire, life & safety programs, structuring annual operational budget and implementing control measures to contain expenses within defined limits and carrying out all general administration tasks
•Rendering engineering support and implementing measures for continuous process improvement with the accountability of defining process parameters to achieve maximum output from all operations
•Maintaining appropriate documentation ensuring precision, accuracy & compliance to the standards and carrying out feasibility study for implementation of plant modifications & capital investments and rotating equipment
•Executing and developing the best practices and standard operating procedures targeting at organizational excellence and devising cost control measures to obtain significant saving in entire engineering operations
•Supporting corporate philosophy, direction / decisions and developing as well as implementing safety and process control procedures to achieve excellence, complying with safety, quality and operational standards of the company
•Implementing new process concepts for production optimization and improving operational efficiency by enhancing capacity utilization, reducing rejections and non-value added activities and operational improvement
•Planning and monitoring of technological changes to enhance efficiency through modifications in equipment, process flow, working practices, consumables etc. for controlling & reducing conversion cost per unit produced
•Identifying opportunities, analyzing data, conducting tests, cost benefit analysis while directing, leading & motivating workforce and imparting continuous on job training for accomplishing greater operational effectiveness/ efficiency
•Renewing all legal licenses relating to engineering, following up on routine inspection and audits, ensuring that all staff have an appraisal on time and monitor to ensure that the results are fair and constructive
•Making vital contribution in improving business processes, establishing project objectives with the accountability of developing staff performance through coaching and mentoring subordinates and peers
•Acting as a key player in analysis, development and implementation of strategic business plans & policies, ensuring organizational growth, targeting maximum profitability & cost effectiveness
•Developing and maintaining preventive maintenance programs for all Fire, Life & Safety systems Equipment’s, RO plant, Sewage treatment plant, guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house, building, systems etc.
•Analyzing and monitoring all POMEC operations and expenditures with the accountability of developing and implementing SOP’s LSOP according to local standards
•Making vital contribution in implementing departmental training plans and actively participating as a departmental trainer to lead my team by example
