    My role was to manage the Spa at the Peligoni Club in Zakynthos island during the summer season. Comprehensive responsibilities encompassing operations, team leadership and excellent customer service for high profile guests. I had to collaborate with my spa team to effectively coordinate and manage spa bookings and treatments. In charge of developing and nurturing positive relationships with guests and fellow members of staff. I regularly had to liaise and coordinate with the Front of House team and take care of the appearance and general cleanliness of the spa area, making sure that spa experience was of the highest quality. I sought feedback from both staff and guests to improve the spa operation. Personally I carried out spa treatments to the highest standard to set an example for my team. I was also in charge of monitoring stock levels and rotation.

    As Practice Manager I was in charge of the workplace and ensuring its smooth operation. My responsibilities were recruiting staff, rota rotation, promoting their continuous training and development and finally disciplinary procedures. Creating a constructive yet relaxed working environment where the Therapist team efficiency is the number one priority. At the front desk I would greet clinic patients and ensure that experience at Buchanan Chiropractic is tailored to suit individual needs. I worked hard to promote health care and wellness with patients and staff alike as well as ensuring the Clinic was running as a successful business. During this time I also gained significant experience in Business to Business (B2B) communications from working with insurance companies such as BUPA, WPA and AXA. This work involved processing claims with these companies on behalf of patients. I was reporting to the Managing Director and I would complete payment and invoice reports monthly. We would review these reports and discuss any future improvements required. Whilst a Manager, I was also involved in assisting with chiropractic and massage appointments - taking patients initial assessment, medical history and arranging follow-up appointments. As a therapist I specialise in Sport Therapy, so I was able to help with patients of all ages and levels of activity in providing these treatments. Adding massage therapy to the chiropractic clinic was one of my major achievements given the additional income it generated.
