Report all incidents, accidents and guest complaints in briefings
Receive supplies from the stores, suppliers and other kitchen outlets and ensure that they are arranged properly in the various storage areas
Ensures hygiene, cleanliness and tidiness in all areas of the cold kitchen including fridge, cooler, freezers, dry stores.
Report any equipment issue and setting up the cook stations and buffet counter
Observe and learn to doing other task carried out in the kitchen by other cooks
Observe and learn to operate the variety of kitchen equipment as provided in the respective working area
Support the Chef de Partie in the overall smooth operation of the yastry ensuring prompt service at all times.
Prepare dishes for the restaurant and banqueting and assist his superiors to check on the presentation and replenishment if required
Prepare food at the buffet and assist their superiors to check on the breakfast buffet presentation and replenishment as required
Fill in the kitchen fridge temperature record daily
Maintain a safe and a secure working environment
Cooks, prepares and bakes food for guests and associates as per the standard recipes
