Records all occurrences of security interest in the log book for the information of the security personnel and management.
Handles all guest and internal customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, following through to ensure problems are resolved satisfactorily.
Through hands-on management, supervises closely all Security Officers in the performance of their duties in accordance with Hotel Policies & Procedures and applicable laws.
Attends training sessions and meetings as and when required.
Carries out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Holds qualifications in Security and Safety Management desirable.
Good knowledge of Fire Emergency and Evacuation, and Bomb Threat procedures .
Adequate knowledge in managing fire fighting equipment, sprinkler systems and smoke detectors and knowledge of occupational health and safety codes.
Qualified in first aide and equipment.
Well developed report writing and investigation skills.
Good trainer, able to facilitate at all levels.
Well developed Communication and Customer Relations Skills.
Basic Computer Skills particularly in the use of MS Office and email.
Minimum two years work experience as Security Team Leader in a hotel or large commercial complex.
Essential knowledge of Travel and Hotel industry.
