Youth Olympic Games Intern

Mission
The Youth Olympic Games Intern will assist and support the relevant managers with activities related to the Youth Olympic Games Coordination. They will also contribute to specific projects and activities related to Youth Olympic Games

Main responsibilities
Coordination of the IOC YOG Management team and liaison with the Youth Olympic Games Organising Committees (Project Management)

- In close collaboration with the YOG Coordination Managers, help manage the coordination of the IOC YOG Management team and circulate all relevant information within the IOC and to other parties concerned to ensure a good level of understanding of the project.
- Assist in liaising with the YOG 2024 and 2026 Organising Committees for Games coordination and Planning related issues and actions.
- Assist in monitoring the overall follow-up of the tasks and milestones related to the YOG 2024 and 2026 organisation in collaboration with the IOC functions/departments and YOGOCs and highlight issues when relevant.
- Offer support to the YOG Planning & Integration section for the preparation and follow-up of the IOC visits to the Interested Parties and assist in the preparation of the working documents (agenda, status reports, memos, follow-up reports and letters) in close collaboration with other IOC functions/departments and the YOGOCs.
- Assist in the preparation of internal meetings, specific events, conference calls, support material (agenda, PowerPoint presentations, follow-up documents) and logistics.
- Offer support to the YOG Planning & Integration section for the preparation of the YOG working documents for the IOC Executive Boards and IOC Session.
- Liaise with Coordination Commissions for each Edition of the Games, giving information and supporting with the logistics of each Coordination Commission meeting
- Participate in implementation of tools needed to monitor Games coordination

Other areas
- Contribute to specific projects and activities related to the Youth Olympic Games
- Manage the YOG Coordination inbox responding to questions and informing necessary members of the team, where relevant
- Manage the YOG SharePoint sites ensuring the most relevant and necessary information is available in a systematic manner
