This role delivers an array of learning solutions for external clients based on an in-depth understanding of Disney’s best practice/approach to sales. Complemented by personal sales or training experience, the facilitator demonstrates an advanced ability to transfer concepts from ideas to observable actions, ultimately producing performance improvement and sustainable business results. This role is based in Orlando, Florida and reports to a Delivery Manager. Responsibilities
  • Effectively communicates with external clients drawing upon training experience, business knowledge and Disney insights to both understand client objectives and align learning solutions.
  • Training Specialists must also blend relevant insights and illustrations, in order to meet the client’s learning objective without substantial direction.
  • Training Specialists must be capable of solo or partner delivery of learning programs, and collaborate well with content development partners to effectively deliver learning objectives as designed.
  • Training Specialists must be capable of project managing a client learning experience, including pre-program activities, functional partner support, content customization and dynamic facilitation.
  • Training Specialists must be capable of training all channels including Disney Vacation Club front-line sales, telesales, and cruise sales channels.
Basic Qualifications
  • 2 - 3 years prior sales or sales training experience
  • 2 - 3 years experience within adult training, learning and development
  • 2 - 3 years experience facilitating learning experiences to a business audience
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt successfully in a fast paced, ever changing environment with minimal direction
  • Proven ability to collaborate with and influence partners, peers and clients
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and communicate business principles to external business leaders at all levels
  • Proven ability to translate personal experiences into stories that are relevant to the client’s need while enhancing the learning points of the content
  • Strong organization, planning and project management skills
  • Demonstrated comfort in leveraging technology to enhance learning and support key messages
  • Outstanding presentation and facilitation skills with both small (<25) and large (>100) audiences
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years prior sales or sales training experience
  • 5+ years experience within adult training, learning and development
  • 5+ years experience facilitating learning experiences to a business audience
Required Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent
Preferred Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Education, Business or Instructional Design
