Manager, Distribution and eCommerce Marketing, APAC

Job Descriptions:
- Manage the preparation, editing, and launching of commercial third-party distribution contracts in partnership with area marketing leadership, global distribution, and legal teams.
- Research and present third-party distribution opportunities to drive incremental revenue, collect and present opinions on various commercial opportunities.
- Review third-party contracts to ensure Four Seasons' commercial interests are incorporated when establishing or terminating a new/old partner.
- Will be required to assist in engaging in negotiations on behalf of Four Seasons.
- Ensure Distribution Operations and other stakeholders are aware of the terms of the third-party contracts and any changes that occur over time.
- Provide sound commercial advice to the company and make recommendations to Management as necessary.
- Represent the distribution discipline in APAC towards internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage existing and new third-party relationships out of APAC.
- Facilitate campaigns and content with strategic partners in APAC, work with relevant stakeholders as necessary.
- Facilitate distribution of availability, rates, and inventory (ARI).
- Conduct QBRs with strategic partners in APAC to review regional performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Optimize performance of distribution partners and properties in APAC by conducting regular reviews and audits.
- Assist in implementation of eCommerce capabilities on Chinese Social Media platforms including but not limited to WeChat.
- Identify eCommerce Marketing opportunities with third parties including OTAs in China, integrating with Four Seasons China Social Media plan.
- Partner with Area Marketing team to identify and launch strategic partnerships in China to create meaningful business impact.
- Support key APAC marketing projects inside or outside of China as required, and as assigned by the Area Vice President, Sales and Hotel Marketing (APAC).

Reports to:
- Direct line reporting: Area Director, Hotel Marketing and Revenue Management (APAC).
- Dotted line reporting: Area Director, PR and Marketing Communications (APAC).
Location for this position:
- Shanghai Worldwide Sales Office.
Education:
- College or University degree, relevant hospitality experience in distribution and digital marketing.
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in the hospitality & travel industry.
- Exposure to third-party contract management and / or relevant experience working for an OTA / digital ecosystem in China.
- Exposure to ORS / PMS / distribution connectivity.
- Experience with digital / social / CRM marketing and proven marketing capabilities in China specifically.
- Strong Chinese language capability, with the ability to assess language nuance, and consult across various regional and global stakeholders on projects (including original and translated work).
Technical Skills and Knowledge:
- Knowledge of Synxis, FS.com, Online Travel Agents, Global Distribution Systems, Chinese digital travel ecosystem, and Wholesalers.
- Knowledge of China Social Media platforms and Sales & Marketing trends and technologies.
- Knowledge of Four Seasons Hotels, policies with an emphasis in all Distribution channels.
- Strong computer literacy in a PC environment, including familiarity with MS Outlook, MS Teams, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point. Adept at learning new applications.
Travel:
- Occasional travel throughout China and to Singapore Corporate Office may be required (approximately one week per quarter); select travel to Toronto Home Office and other locations as required.
