To direct, coordinate train and supervise the Rooms Sales team to ensure achievement of budgeted room and event revenues across all market segments. Priority is to ensure that the hotel will be the leader for revenue yield in the 5 star category.
You will pave the way for generating new business, and leverage on Hyatt Gold Passport to encourage loyal Hyatt guests to enjoy the grand life. You will ensure that rooms revenue is within expectation, maximize revenue and profits, and drive hotel''s positive performance in the marketplace. You will lead an inspired sales team composed of an Associate Director of Sales, Sales Managers, Executives and Coordinators.
You will have a progressive hotel sales experience gained from a large scale five star hotel, possess unparalleled selling skills and negotiating skills. You will be proficient in the use of hotel sales systems and tools, able to train and coach team members and monitor the process of sending referrals, setting traces and profiling accounts. At the same time, you will have well developed network of RFP accounts and multi-national companies and can demonstrate how to handle high-end luxury travel accounts or consortia. Your strong leadership skills and organizational skills will enhance your innate ability to tune into customer needs and wants to deliver Moments of More and allow our colleagues and guests experience the excitement of living the grand life.
University graduate with a degree in Marketing or Hospitality/Tourism management.
Minimum 2 years work experience as Director of Sales or Associate Director of Sales.
Has a well developed network of local and international accounts.
