About Jumeirah and Jumeirah at Saadiyat Island:

Ensure that all notice boards are updated daily (i.e. Duty Manager, Functions, VIP’s etc.)

Communicate closely with Guest Services to ensure that any special requests are taken care of efficiently (DND, Incognito, etc).

Listen consciously to the operator’s taking calls, observing their tone of voice and if necessary take corrective action.

Ensure that Wake up Calls is set correctly and punctually and that any failures are followed up.

Ensure that all faxes (especially for guests) are collected by the concierge and delivered immediately and they are recorded properly
-
Ensure that guest messages in Opera are typed correctly following the Jumeirah standard.

Ensure that all operators are aware of the resort’s fire, safety and emergency procedures.

Arrange for internal test calls are carried out on a regular basis as a tool to monitor the performance
-
Analyze the telephone Test Calls and CSI results and take appropriate action to correct any adverse results and/or trends.
About you:
The ideal candidates for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

College Diploma or equivalent from a Hospitality related field

Excellent communication skills
-
Listening Skills
-
Critical thinking skills
-
At least 1 year experience in a similar role
