Descriptions
 
The Team Leader Operator will report to Ass FO Manager.
 
The candidate managing the team in absence of Telephones Manager by setting the example, teaching them the importance of professionalism when answering external and internal calls; handling Service One requests in a consistent, courteous and efficient manner and educating the team on our hallmarks and Guiding Principles and how to achieve a maximum Customer Service Index by following the set standards Answer calls as the first priority, internal and external in a speedy, courteous warm and friendly tone of voice. Handle all calls, requests, complaints and inquiries efficiently and professionally and also to conduct trainings within the team.
 
Carries out assignments as delegated by the Telephones Manager, ensuring that all company and Hotel policies and procedures and minimum standards are adhered to, Assists in establishing standards of performance and job descriptions of service staff, Assists in the co-ordination of special promotions and provides administrative support necessary
 
Main Duties
  • Carry out tasks as per the Team Leader’s job description
  • Ensure all calls are answered according to the set standard in the department training manual.
  • Carry out operational duties of both Telephones and Service one.
  • Carry out detailed check on service one discrepancies and address them with correction if needed.
  • Carry out a detailed check on all incoming and out-going faxes for our guests/ departments.
  • Handle messages for in-house and expected guests.
  • Ensure that all requests are handled in a timely manner and to follow up with guests for satisfaction in a service provided.
  • Conduct regular trainings within the department.
  • Organise bi monthly departmental communication meetings and briefings.
  • Any other duties as may reasonably be requested by the management. 
 
 

 

Qualifications
 
Essential:
  • Indonesia Nationality
  • Hotel School or Degree in Hotel Management desirable
  • Certification on Telephone Technology preferred
  • English spoken and written is essential
 
Experiences
  • Two to three years working experience in a five star hotel or customer service driven environment.
  • Knowledge of PC and PMS system (opera)
  • Knowledge of Telecommunication system -PABX
  • Leadership skills
