We are looking for an experienced, creative and open-minded Executive Sous Chef to join Kuredu Resort Maldives.
Kuredu Resort Maldives is 1800 meters long by 325 meters wide is the only resort on the island of Kuredu, in Lhaviyani Atoll, features 387 rooms, 14 restaurants and bars, extensive water sport & diving facilities.
Core tasks and responsibilities:
• Oversee the activities of the entire kitchen division in support to the Executive Chef.
• Ensure smooth operation and manage all functions of the food production operations in the all kitchen areas.
• Provide supervision, training, direction and leadership to all kitchen staff to ensure the departmental performance and development.
• Jointly with Executive Chef to be responsible for budgets and cost control, recruitment and development of the kitchen team, HACCP, Health and Hygiene monitoring and maintenance as well as remain highly creative in designing menus.

Key requirements:
• Candidates should have proven experience in 4-5 star resorts in the similar role not less than 3 years, solid experience of Buffet and A la carte Western and Asian Cuisine.
• Experience in culturally diverse and/or isolated locations is highly preferred.
• Candidates should have a realistic and consistent length of service in their previous assignments.
• Fluency in English is a must.
• HACCP – Level 2 is required.
• The successful candidate is able to work under pressure, natural team leader and team-player.
