La empresa
Acting as both a shareholder and a hotel operator in Paris, the Compagnie Hoteliere de Bagatelle (CHB) is developing an original investment strategy in the hospitality sector. The company currently manages six hotels in central Paris, comprising nearly 250 rooms, and wishes to constitute, in the short term, a group of fifteen establishments.
The Compagnie Hoteliere de Bagatelle is distinguished by three areas of expertise with high added value:
The origination and acquisition of traditional family hotels
Their renovation and transformation into 4 and 5 star original concept hotels
Direct management of these establishments
The CHB invests its own funds, and also has co-investment agreements to enhance its development.
The company operates in a growing market, that of Parisian hotels, which is both attractive and subject to a certain amount of risk. A world tourist destination, Paris has undergone a steady growth in the number of overnight stays and currently has a structural shortage of available hospitality options.
The group focuses its acquisition strategy on family hotels, a category that accounts for two thirds of the 1,500 hotels situated in Paris. Its establishments, of both small and medium capacity, are all located in dynamic and central districts.
