The sales & marketing representative will do a variety of tasks with the objective of stipulating the highest
number of contracts possible with new clients. This will be mainly based on creating a selective list of
telephone numbers by segment, making phone calls, ensuring customer care thanks to a trace system, taking
appointments, making business prospection, organizing visits inside and outside of our proprieties, writing
offers, creating contracts and taking care of the administrative side of the department.
The main purpose is to solicit different organizations and socio-economic businesses to collaborate with the
hotels through a selective and creative selling based on conviction and argumentation.
The knowledge of our hotels and products is crucial for every commercial representative; indeed, every
trainee has to be confident with the structure and the functioning of the operational cycle, in order to better
focus on choosing the right product or promotion for the right guest.

Sobre ti

* Calls
At the beginning of the internship, the trainee will be responsible of creating a list of phone numbers of
specific businesses, based on segments and suburbs researched. Those lists will allow entering in contact with
the businesses chosen, with the aim of organizing meetings. Once the trainee is ready, he will be able to make
phone calls to those businesses.

* Traces
After each direct contact with a business, either by phone, email or meeting, the trainee will be in charge of
entering the traces inside the computerized system of the hotel (PMS), which will be taught upon arrival.
Traces are needed in order to enhance successful future meetings and improve customer follow-up, as it
represents an essential feature of the Sales department.

* Customer Follow up
Customer follow-up changes with the different enterprises: if they have a contract with us, it is necessary to
extract relevant information from their feedback in order to improve the quality of services. Other types of
customer follow-ups are:

- Prospects: Customer follow-up of companies with a big potential that we would like to sign a
contract with; always remember the name of these companies in order to invite them to our
events.
- People we are trying to reach, but from whom we did not received any concrete or definitive
answer.

* The prospection
The trainee will attend the prospecting done on the field, by sector (Sales Blitz). This duty consists in visiting
companies to find, convince and generate new partnerships, organize meetings and visits to the hotels. A
business lunch can be arranged, allowing the customer to feel more important as he will be better welcomed,
increasing the possibility of stipulating a contract.

* The adminsitrative part
The LCR (Local Corporate Rate): it consists of a weekly analysis of all the room nights of
existing accounts in contract with us, in order to measure the evolution of each one and make
comparison with their past behavior.
- Checklist: every month, the trainee will have to sum up what has been done over the period,
and what is still to be done (call back, send brochures).
- The mission of an administrative point of view will also pass through the study of previous
accounts and the email promotions that have been sent.
