Manager, People Partner

Commercial & Consumer Insights, Analytics, and Business Growth Teams

Location: NY, Miramar, FL, Irving, TX, or Irvine, CA

The People Partner is responsible for aligning business objectives with people solutions within the Commercial, & Consumer Insights, Analytics and Business Growth Teams.   The People Partner acts as business professionals, team member champions, and change agent. The People Partner is an HR professional who partners with and advises the business by maintaining a deep understanding of the business.

Responsibilities

Forms effective relationships with the Commercial & Consumer Insights, Analytics and Business Growth teams and consults with managers, providing People guidance when appropriate. Supports manager level and below; may support higher level depending on the team and situation.

Maintains knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of team members, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Partners with team members to ensure a vibrant and effective workplace.

Provides guidance and input on division restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.

Support employee relations issues, performance management issues including development plans, performance plans, and terminations while maintaining equity and respect.

Works closely with management and team members to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity.

Develop strategic plans that focus on continuous improvement of positive employee experience, recognition, employee relations and performance management; improve employee retention.

Participates in the development and facilitation of performance management, development, inclusion and diversity, and other programs for employees.

Increases impact of talent management programs and employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle by partnering to create action plans supported by data including staffing, performance, engagement, and inclusion, equity and diversity.

Required Qualifications

Prefer 3 to 5 years of People experience in recruiting, employee relations, people operations, compensation/benefits, and/or organizational development.

Demonstrate discretion and sound judgment while working with sensitive and confidential materials.

Comfortable using technology, including Microsoft Suite.

Effective verbal and written communications.

Passion for results.

A team player who acts with a sense of urgency and adapts to a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.

Ability to solve moderate to complex problems; resourceful and takes initiative to seek internal and external resources when problem-solving.

Very strong EQ, with fine-tuned instincts and problem-solving skills.

Strong project management, effective organizational skills, business and People acumen, including strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking and analysis with high attention to detail a must.

Analytically driven; fluent with data-driven analysis.

Learning mindset.

Knowledge of federal and state employment laws.

Bachelor's degree preferred
