Two Michelin stars, 180 covers a night. Dinner by Heston Blumenthal runs like a well-oiled machine, and we’re looking for an Executive Chef who can keep pace.

This isn’t just a chance to head up one of London’s busiest two-starred restaurants; it’s a chance to learn the history of British cuisine, from an eighteenth-century salamagundy to salmon cured with Earl Grey.

Of course, the standards of service expected at Dinner by Heston Blumenthal are only possible with a certain level of regimentation. But with regiments come ranks, and we believe in moving up them.

After all, our hotels are international, and a fine stay means fine dining all over the world, from Tokyo to Tapei.

About the role

As Executive Chef of Dinner by Heston Blumenthal, you will manage and direct the team on a daily basis to ensure the culinary operation of the restaurant delivers consistent excellence, exceeding industry norms to always be ahead of the market and be recognised through awards and accolades accordingly. You will be expected to always act responsibly and ensure others are brand ambassadors for Mandarin Oriental, Heston Blumenthal and the Fat Duck Group. It is key to drive our vision of kind and generous service, treating both guests and colleagues in a respectful manner; treasuring our colleagues as much as our delightful guests.

Sitting between glorious Royal Parkland and the buzz of central Knightsbridge, Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London is re-imagined and re-invented, offering the essence of timeless heritage coupled with contemporary flair and impeccable service.

As part of the most-extensive multi-million-pound restoration in the hotel's history, internationally-renowned designer Joyce Wang, oversaw the new design of all the rooms, suites and public areas, inspired by the natural beauty of neighbouring Hyde Park and the glamour of the 20th century Golden Age of travel.

The stunning re-imagining of The Spa at Mandarin Oriental, London along with the hotel’s destination restaurants and Mandarin Bar, were directed by esteemed New York designer Adam D Tihany.
