 JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to Director FBP Loyalty, the Manager will contribute to the financial support of the Loyalty Program (Marriott Bonvoy), ensuring the Program’s ongoing financial health and stability and enabling the achievement of the Programs’ financial goals and objectives. He / She will partner with the Finance Business Partner Consumer Operations (FBP CO) team, Loyalty business partners, Marriott Business Services (MBS), IT, Tax, Legal, Financial Contract Compliance, and the Customer Engagement Center (CEC) in the execution of financial and operational business strategies and plans to support the ongoing needs and responsibilities of the Loyalty Program.

The Manager will serve as a subject matter expert on financial matters related to the Loyalty billing and will lead efforts to compile, analyze and translate data into actionable financial information in support of the Program’s financial objectives for the Global Loyalty team, continents, hotels, and other key stakeholders. The primary focus of the Manager is Loyalty Program billing and all other partnership billing.

The Manager will support departmental objectives. He/She will assist in execution of programs and enhancement of systems and processes that support key objectives to achieve the goals of these programs for Marriott and add value. He/She will therefore be adept at tapping diverse sources of information, identifying opportunities, anticipating challenges, and executing strategies to deliver against this objective.

EXPECTED CONTRIBUTIONS

Loyalty Program Billing

  • Manage loyalty program billings including Regular Stay, Enrollments, Bonus Points and Rewarding Events and address BDR’s (Billing Dispute Resolution) in a timely manner.
  • Manage miscellaneous program billing including, o Closed properties billing: perform monthly accruals and reconciliations for any de-flagged or converted property.
  • Elite referral upgrades billing: process monthly billings (via MIGL or OFB) for elite referral member upgrade(s).
  • Other Bonvoy partnership billing: perform review in adherence to audit requirements, manage timely collection and accurate reporting.
  • Manage member Bonvoy point purchase activity including but not limited to chargebacks, refunds, and reporting of member activities.
  • Reconcile respective AR accounts on the program’s balance sheet with the supporting documentation, properly present in adherence to the company policy.


Managing Work, Projects, and Policies

  • Coordinates and implements accounting work and projects as assigned.
  • Coordinates, implements, and follows up on Accounting SOP audits for all areas of the property.
  • Generates and provides accurate and timely results in the form of reports, presentations, etc.
  • Analyzes information and evaluates results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
  • Compiles, codes, categorizes, calculates, tabulates, audits, or verifies information or data.
  • Balances credit card ledgers.


Maintaining Finance and Accounting Goals

  • Completes period end function each period.
  • Achieves and exceeds goals including performance goals, budget goals, team goals, etc.
  • Develops specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work.
  • Submits reports in a timely manner, ensuring delivery deadlines.
  • Ensures profits and losses are documented accurately.
  • Monitors all taxes that apply, ensuring that taxes are current, collected and/or accrued.
  • Maintains a strong accounting and operational control environment to safeguard assets.
  • Provide direction and assistance to other organizational units regarding accounting and budgeting policies and procedures, and efficient control and utilization of financial resources.
