MISSION
To serve the needs of the business, our guests and our colleagues by driving sales activities for the hotel, achieving revenue and profit targets, growing and developing a loyal customer base on behalf of the hotel.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
• Working toward the achievement of the Wedding & Private Events budget for the current year of Meliá Desert Palm Dubai.
• To implement all sales activities and maximize business opportunities across Weddings, Leisure, Corporate, and MICE segment with responsibility in meeting and exceeding revenue objectives for occupancy and ADR.
• Coordinates with the DOS to create a communication and action plan for professionals to review the development of the plan and take appropriate actions in order to achieve the sales goals.
• Attend sales meetings, record actions as requested by the General Manager or Director of Sales and to contribute to the on-going strategic decisions.
• Ensure to follow the assigned Procedure of Organization for the Sales Department for a better efficiency in dealing with client and internal departments.
• Develop Sales and annual, quarterly and monthly sales & marketing goals.
• Report the outcome of the visits in Opera and make suggestions for any necessary improvements in order to achieve the goals.
• Provide marketing and sales information, statistics and reports for the different potential customers (by segments, sources and source market).
• Attends internal fam trips or hotel site visit.
• Drive Market Share and Sales Performance through proper pricing and segment mix management.
• Provide guidance on corporate transient negotiated pricing, group pricing for each group, and wholesale pricing.
• Conducts site inspections with prospective and existing clients as per the Sales and Marketing SOP’s
• Attend local, regional, and international Weddings Fairs and Shows.
• In charge of designing and production of all needed Wedding collateral for the hotel.
• In charge of wedding bloggers entertainment to drive exposure of the hotel within the wedding market.
• In charge of the wedding social media for the hotel.
• In charge of following up on all existing wedding leads to ensure conversion.
• Produce wedding proposals and contracts.
• Conduct BEO meetings with the operational team to ensure proper communication of the events among the whole team.
• To work closely with Events and Catering Team on set accounts and adhere to SOP on BEO, proposal, contract issuance.
• Provide Feedback to the DOS feedback and market trends; including quarterly competitive intelligence and monthly lost business reports.

Requisitos

REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum 3 years experience in Sales Manager position handling wedding and social events.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree in the field of marketing or business administration
• Excellent English and Arabic communication skills
• Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
