This is an excellent opportunity to be part of our Entertainments Team within our fantastical resort. We're looking for an Entertainments Scenic Production Manager
You will be responsible for the management and production of designs, technical drawings, procurement, construction and the maintenance of the sets and props for all resort entertainment.
Taking a creative role in planning and production of all aspects of the resort entertainment.
Ensure all work undertaken, workshops, storage venues, installations/de-rigs and entertainments areas are run and maintained safely, in accordance to codes, best practice, legislation and guidelines. Ensure that Health and Safety procedures and legislation are followed at all times.
You'll liaise closely with other members of the team to ensure that creative vision is realised and maintained at all times.
We are looking for the following skills and experience in\:
Design and technical drawing skills
Stage/Set installations in a team leader role
People management experience
Understanding of health and safety in this particular industry
Project management experience including budgets and scheduling
Strong practical knowledge of scenic carpentry, prop making & scenic art and the materials/techniques associated with these specialisms.
Photoshop/ Illustrator
AutoCAD
Sketchup
Microsoft Office
Creative problem solving
Experience with CAD/CAM software such as ArtCam, Vectric etc. for producing plans for CNC machines would be desirable.
IPAF/PASMA Qualifications desirable
This role is a permanent contract based on 40 hours a week and will include weekends and bank holidays as required. Specifics to be discussed at interview.
