Our Guest Services Team (Switchboard) are dedicated to curating singularly inspired guest experiences. At Sea Containers London, we take pride in creating a guest experience that is original, memorable and totally one-of-a kind. Our service-driven approach to reinventing the traditional hotel switchboard delivers a refreshing and personable interaction.

We are currently looking for a friendly and conscientious Guest Services Agent with the passion and drive to deliver the bespoke Sea Containers London experience our guests have come to expect. Have you got it?

Who are you?

  • Excellent communication skills and a strong command of the English language is essential.
  • Excellent telephone manner and the ability to confidently communicate with both hotel guests and staff.
  • A consistently positive and outgoing demeanour with a can-do attitude.
  • Flexible to work a range of different shifts including overnights, weekends and public holidays where required.
  • Previous experience in a customer facing role or in a similar 4/5* hotel.
  • Knowledge of Opera and Micros systems would be advantageous.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Answer all internal and external telephone calls and deal with guest enquiries via telephone and email.
  • Handle all guest requests, enquiries and complaints promptly and courteously, taking the necessary actions and following through to completion.
  • To have a detailed knowledge of hotel facilities, outlets and opening times.
  • To take and place Room Service orders for hotel guests.
  • Input and update guest messages and deliver Wake-Up Calls.
  • Assist hotel guests with the use of Business Centre facilities.
