Assistant Restaurant & Bars Manager
New Hall Hotel & Spa is a beautiful 60 bedroom country house hotel famed for being England’s oldest listed inhabited moated house. We are now recruiting for an Assistant Restaurant & Bar Manager to support the Restaurant & Bar Manager in leading the F&B team.
The Assistant Restaurant & Bars Manager will take responsibility for ensuring the delivery of high standards of service on a daily basis within our 2 rosette restaurant, private dining and weddings; creating fantastic memories for our guests. This is an hourly paid role with working hours not less than 40 per week and hours will include weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis; all additional hours are paid at normal hourly rate of pay.
This hands-on role provides direct contact with guests and the opportunity to develop your management skills in interactions with both guests and colleagues.
You will support in ensuring the F&B team are inspired to achieve upselling targets and assist in managing departmental manpower and operating costs in line with budgets.
You will be committed to ensuring that every team member feels valued and engaged, supporting to deliver activities that continuously develop the skills and capabilities of your team,

Competencies of an Assistant Restaurant & Bars Manager:
- You must be passionate about delivering outstanding hospitality to our guests whilst demonstrating strong food and wine knowledge.
- The ability to establish rapport and deliver high standards of service with a genuine and approachable manner is essential.
- Previous experience in a similar environment is essential.
