Hotel Ohla Barcelona is a 5-star boutique hotel located in the heart of the Gothic district in Barcelona. It is a modern, urban building that defines itself through the attention to detail, the use of high quality materials, design and confort combining maximum functionality, new technology and architectural creativity.

We offer you an opportunity to gain skills and experience in the Experience Department. Your duties will be:

- Check each day’s arrivals as well as the ones scheduled for the following days (check the cardex if they are repetitive) to know the guests’ requests and requirements and take nationality and culture issues into account (characteristics of Asian guests, diets according to religion, etc.).
- Prepare handwritten welcome notes.
- Have a perfectly tidy welcome cart that’s clean and has enough stock.
- Receive clients and show them around with personalized attention
- Organise the VIP set-up of the rooms to make sure that everything is perfect throughout the guest’s stay
- Supervise and take care of preparation, set-up, service and cleaning of the room
- Approach guests before they approach Reception.
- Check that hospitalities, requests for room service and packs are addressed and served on time and with a good presentation.
- Communicate any incident that you see or hear to your superior, as well as any comments guests make in order to solve them as soon as possible.
- Find out if guests have a car in a car park or transfer to the airport to coordinate the guests’ exit with the Concierge in an optimal way.
- Collect and deliver the clothes guests have left for dry cleaning or ironing.
- If guests have a reservation at the hotel restaurant, make sure that the table is ready for the time of their reservation.
- Deliver a satisfaction survey upon the departure of the guests.

This internship position reports directly to the Head of the Experience Department and to Hotel Management due to the great importance this position has for the hotel.

It requires a great knowledge of the hotel, its facilities, services (internal and external), schedules, menus, packs, etc.
- It requires a clean person with taste who must be well groomed at all times.
- An easy and pleasant smile is essential.

Duration: 3 moths minimum.
