Assists the Front Office Manager and Assistant Front Manager in administering front office functions and supervising staff on a daily basis. Front office areas include Bell/Door Staff, Switchboard and Guest Services/Front Desk. Position directs and works with managers and employees to carry out procedures ensuring an efficient check in and check out process. Ensures guest and employee satisfaction and maximizes the financial performance of the department.
Assist management in training, evaluating, counseling, motivating and coaching employees; serve as a role model and first point of contact of the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process. Develop/maintain positive working relationships; support team to reach common goals; listen and respond appropriately to employee concerns.
The Front Office Duty Manager also performs Shift Leader duties such as processing all guest check-ins and check outs, verifying guest identity, form of payment, assigning room, activating/issuing room key...
Valid working permit for Belgium is mandatory
Fluency in English and French. Any additional language is a plus
At least two years of operational experience in the Front Office
