Reporting to the AVP Commercial Strategy, the Manager of Commercial Performance will support business goals by tracking performance, reporting on key KPIs and developing both strategic and actionable insights and plans through data-driven analysis. This role will be key driving business performance through prioritization of retail initiatives and consistent execution.

This person must possess a thorough understanding of luxury client purchasing behaviors and have proven experience in working successfully with cross-functional teams to achieve deliverables in a client-centric luxury retail environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Performance management

  • Manage the annual budget process (analysis, proposal, communication, monitoring) in partnership with the Regions, the High Jewelry and Ecommerce teams as well as definition of commercial KPIS.
  • Develop relevant tools for managing performance (monthly / weekly dashboard, ad-hoc reports as needed) incorporating a 360 vision: across channels, products, clients segments, client voice etc.
  • Share findings with relevant teams to turn data into actionable plans.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support the Cartier action plans process (boutiques, specialists) and ensure consistent execution throughout the year.
  • Develop and implement retail execution plans for key sales initiatives: commission plan, incentives, boutique organization incl. headcount requests, roles & missions


Performance Tools & Transformation

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support implementation and drive adoption of new performance tools (smart scheduling, new BI reporting, new mobile dashboard etc.).
  • Drive efficiency and optimize boutique processes by developing a workforce management program; document all boutique tasks and corresponding time they take to create a more efficient environment that prioritizes client-facing tasks.
  • Develop a business acumen culture across the commercial teams.


Reporting & Analytics

  • Provide boutiques and commercial leadership with reports, analysis incorporating a 360 vision: across channels, products, clients segments, client voice etc.
  • Analyse initiatives results vs. objectives on a monthly basis and as needed.
  • Maintain a circular feedback loop, share opportunities for sales growth and recommendations for future improvements with the regions and corporate business partners.


Team Leadership, Communication & Role Modeling

  • Establish a framework for sharing business updates and for receiving feedback from boutique and commercial leadership to enhance and prioritize activities.  Create exciting communications and supporting materials that measure results vs. targets.
  • Assist in building a new, robust practice around driving business performance through prioritization of retail initiatives and consistent execution.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support the Cartier action plans process and ensure consistent execution throughout the year.
  • Support commercial team in developing business acumen skills.


Required Experience

  • Prior experience in commercial, CRM or financial analyst backgrounds.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and intermediate knowledge of Google Analytics are required.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of luxury client and client purchasing behaviours across different channels
  • Boutique experience preferred
