Title :   Planning Manager

Location :       Shanghai China

Reports to :    Operation Director

Main Purpose:

The planning manager is responsible for plans, forecasts, orders and stock positions. Drive product efficiency strategy and execution to ensure all activities alignment with required policies and compliance standard.

In addition, monitors the flow of inventory to achieve the inventory plans and to maximize channels and regions’ sales and profitability.

Duties and responsibilities but are not limited to:

Stock positions & financial:

  • Works with retail, wholesale sales and ecommerce teams to monitor overall inventory levels and sales to plan and forecast.
  • Take the lead on APO forecast monthly and make recommendation as appropriate
  • Identifies and evaluated any opportunity at category and down to ident level.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of sales and inventory analysis at the channels and category level.


Forecast:

  • Ensures forecast as accurate as possible in a timely manner.
  • Manage forecast plan and orders in-line with inventory and sales targets.
  • Provides ongoing feedback and information to the team on sales results and stock, delivery issues with HQ and vendors.


Inventory Management:

  • Maintains key item and category stock levels.
  • Ensure proper understanding of stock position in each channel, region, key locations, based model stock and trends to achieve optimal sales, profit and inventory performance.
  • Identifies slow and best sellers in inventory, and respond to maximize sales and minimize risks.
  • Facilitate the communication of quality issues to enhance product quality.
  • Monitor performance on new products and give on-going feedback to the team


Supply Chain:

  • Cooperate with Logistic with RCCL logistic and HH supply chain.
  • Regular communication with RCCL logistic and feedback insight from brand side
  • PLV Review and management
  • Ensures that product moves efficiently through the supply chain.
  • Partner with warehouse team to ensure the efficiency of stock movement progress as well as the proper condition of merchandise storage in warehouse.
  • Partner with marketing team on sample orders


Drive Efficient, Continuously Improving Operations:

  • Drive process improvements to optimize the operational level while also meeting corporate standards
  • Monitor and ensure the full accuracy of master data for supply chain management in alignment with Gemini and NSI setting.
  • Business Efficiency Projects: Identifying, analyzing and implementing business improvement opportunities.
  • Support the team on 360 projects, this may include but is not limited to:
  • Data Governance
  • Demand planning reporting
  • System Training : APO and Gemini


Domestic Partner Relations:

  • Develops and maintains effective working partnership with retail, wholesale, ecommerce team and travel retail, while ensuring all channels execute customer service and supply Chain policy appropriately.
  • Work closely with RCCL logistic, supply chain, Gemini project team and compliance team to provide best in support to operation and ensure timely service whilst controlling cost and quality.
  • Drives decision-making and problem solving on the customer complaints or any issues.
  • Ensures team results, relationships and processes are aligned with Richemont mission and values.
  • Ensures efficiency and effectiveness of all related work processes.

Qualifications:

  • Degree holder in supply chain / compliance / operation or related field
  • At least 7 years’ experience in supply chain / compliance / SAP / operation or related field
