Founded and led by legendary hotelier and restaurateur Sam Nazarian – best known as the founder and CEO of sbe Lifestyle Hospitality – the company is capitalizing on the rapidly evolving customer preferences for differentiated F&B experiences. The company boasts an award-winning roster of culinary talent and chef partners including Chef Dani Garcia, Chef Masaharu Morimoto, and Chef Dario Cecchini. A hybrid digital kitchen and food hall platform, C3 is on track to grow to 300+ kitchens and 14 brands by December 2021. C3’s current brands include: Umami Burger, Sam’s Crispy Chicken, Krispy Rice, Plant Nation and Ella Mia, with several limited and full-service concepts created by C3’s chef partners launching in early 2021.

We’re looking for a motivated Graphic Designer to push our C3 restaurant brands to new heights. This person should be ready to pick up digital and print projects across the board at any given moment. Adaptability, tenacity and grit should be ingrained within you. You take pride in your work and recognize when and how the brand comes first.  You are excited about the opportunity to join a fast-paced, forward-thinking company as an early-stage team member. You possess an innate entrepreneurial spirit, you are a culture maven, and you love food.

What You’ll Do

  • Design with a capital ‘D’. You’re joining a brand creative department and will collaborate/support the marketing team to drive the brand. 
  • Actively contribute to all phases of the creative process—from concept to implementation
  • Print design: packaging, collateral, direct mail, menus
  • Social design: social-specific campaigns, in-feed templates, story templates
  • Digital design: email, landing pages, ads, website, presentations, AR filters 
  • Consistently advocate for our consumers while telling our brand story through creative work
  • Pro-actively pick up tasks and run with them
  • Add value to the brand, business, and team

  • Collaborator. Working with the wider team, articulating your individual design decisions and working in a fast-paced environment are effortless for you. You are accountable to yourself and your team. You know when and how to ask for help. You are open to input and use it to grow.

Requirements :

  • Education: BFA preferred
  • Experience: 5+ years of graphic design experience
  • Must present a compelling and diverse portfolio of work across print and digital that represents your point of view as a designer
  • Strong skills in visual brand development, including logos, brand identity, brand guidelines, etc.
  • Ability to quickly master our visual brand language and have the motivation and inventiveness to actively participate in its evolution
  • Strong verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Management experience is valued but not required; should be able to support less experienced designers and manage up
  • Empathy for our customer and their needs as well as your teammates
  • Ability to prioritize and balance multiple projects in an environment that moves fast
  • Highly organized with sharp attention to detail
  • Expert in Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign required. Proficiency in Sketch/Figma a plus
  • Experience or interest in photography, copywriting, motion graphics, and video editing is a plus
  • Experience working for e-commerce, direct-to-consumer, and/or startup businesses is a plus
