The training program will focus on technical skills, leadership skills and discipline specific skills. Technical tasks focus on learning the basic functions of each of the non-management jobs within a discipline. Tasks and learning activities focus on learning company culture, policies and procedures, and broadening one’s knowledge of hotel operations. On-the-job training provides hands-on experience in the position.

Requisitos

Education and Experience
• 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; 2 years experience in the guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related professional area.
Skills and Knowledge
• Customer and Personal Service - Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
• Reading Comprehension - Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.
• Oral Comprehension - The ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
• Mathematics - Using mathematics to solve problems.
• Number Facility - The ability to add, subtract, multiply, or divide quickly and correctly.
• Basic Computer Skills - Using basic computer hardware and software (e.g., personal computers, word processing software, Internet browsers, etc.).
• Writing - Communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience.
