We are currently looking for a Executive Chef:

As a Executive Chef, We rely on you to:

 

DUTIES:

  • Be in charge of leading the culinary departments to ensure operational efficiency, driving quality standards, whilst ensuring a high level of staff engagement
  • Create and develop menus and recipes and lead all menu planning and theme events design to generate business and profit
  • Ensure the quality of food & beverages provided in all restaurants are consistent, meet the hotel standard and exceed guest satisfaction
  • Maintain the highest food quality and sanitation standards
  • Ensure the ultimate guest experience in the hotel
  • Drive high standards of food preparation in order to increase profitability of the hotel
  • Enforce the implementation of food safety programs throughout the entire division
  • Enforce talent management initiatives to develop a team of culinary professionals
  • Maintain a reliable working relationship with internal business partners and external stakeholder to achieve business goals

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Has 3 to 5 years relevant experience in either a luxury restaurant or a 5* hotel environment
  • Enjoys being creative, challenged and interacting with people
  • Communicates and writes with fluency in English
  • Always aware of latest market trends and industry updates
  • Displays curiosity and takes time to learn and understand new culinary trends
  • Must be a friendly, helpful and trustworthy leader
  • Good focus on training and talent development
  • Exposure internationally in hospitality industry
  • Has a passion for Food & Beverage
  • Always thinks outside of the box
  • Has good organisational skills
  • Leads by example
  • Strict controls on HACCP procedures
  • Drive for revenue and profit growth
