Currently we’re searching for an experienced Business Analyst who will be able to work closely with our integration partners to clarify open questions, fully understand their specifications and manage their expectations. In this role you will be responsible for summarising the requirements, prepare supporting documentation and liaise between partners and our development teams, ensuring projects are understood and run smoothly through SiteMinder’s product delivery framework.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with SiteMinder’s clients, partners or internal stakeholders to understand the business needs and translate them into clear and concise technical specifications.
  • Liaise directly with partners, clients and internal stakeholders to understand the nature of integration projects.
  • Provide necessary project coordination and ensure the smooth and efficient technical execution of projects.
  • Communicates / works with integration partners.
  • Coordinates between internal teams where required.
  • Works closely with the development team to ensure timely delivery.
  • Manages certification and pilot processes (internal and external) for new connections.
  • Analyse and review new connection specifications to ensure data compatibility with SiteMinder products.
  • Work with the developers to provide them with documentation from which integration code may easily be written.
  • Troubleshoot production problems with developers as necessary.
  • Provide technical feedback and analysis results to the Product Manager.
  • Adopt the relevant processes, procedures and policies of SiteMinder to ensure a consistently high level of service. Where necessary identify shortfalls in the process and procedures and suggest process improvements.
  • Follow SiteMinder’s best practice procedures, specifically in regard to escalating any security concerns or breach of security.
  • Flexibility in working hours to deal with overseas partners / pilot properties where necessary.
  • Experience
  • Hospitality / Online Distribution experience
  • Previously worked as a Business Analyst
  • Used to work in an agile software delivery environment (sprint planning, retrospective, refinement and demo)
  • The ability to understand business needs / specifications and translate them into technical specifications
  • Strong documentation skills, with the ability to write clear and concise technical specifications.
  • Familiar with API and Data Structures like XML/JSON
  • Knowledge of Java / HTML / XML / SQL
  • Familiarity with HTNG & OTA specifications preferable
  • Experience in Integration projects will be preferable
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Contributing to the culture of entrepreneurialism and accountability
