The Junior Floor Manager is responsible for the day-to-day functions of the club's food & beverage department. The Floor Manager will be responsible for hiring, training and oversight of F&B staff, along with, private parties, ala carte dining and other events. This position will report directly to the Club Manager, and also have a bar component working  with the Bar Manager.

  • Responsible for profit goals of the food & beverage operation
  • Develops, maintains and administers a sound business and organizational plan for the property's food & beverage operations;
  • Trains and supervises all key food & beverage employees of the property
  • Assists with the club's chef in the creation and pricing of the club's menus for ala carte dining
  • Consistently assures that the club's food & beverage services are operated in accordance with all applicable local and federal laws
  • Ensures that all safety and sanitation standards are in compliance with health department regulations
  • Creates and implements all policies & procedures for the club's F&B department
  • Ensures the highest standards for the club's food & beverage services
  • Analyzes financial statements for the food & beverage operations (income and expenses) relative to budgeted goals and takes corrective measures as necessary
  • Participates in promotional/outside activities that are judged appropriate by the Club Manager to enhance the presence of the property in the local community
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by the Club Manager

Job Requirements:

  • Must have 1-2 years related experience in food & beverage management/supervisory operations with a proven track record of leading a professional, efficient, high quality, service-oriented operation
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be highly organized, efficient and detail oriented
  • Must have excellent interpersonal/relationship building skills
  • Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Must have supervisory, coaching and staff development experience
  • Must have a strong business aptitude
  • A four-year college degree in F&B or Hospitality preferred, but not required
