The Human Resources Intern at The Club at Admirals Cove will be responsible for assisting the Human Resources Department with administrative functions, onboarding new hires, creating employee communications, and supporting the entire HR team with any projects or needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Meet and greet applicants & team members
2. Maintain and assist in the steady flow of activity in reception office
3. Assist with providing information and paperwork to applicants & staff
4. Assist in maintaining appointments and streamlining questions throughout the HR department
5. Updating all employee bulletin boards
6. Ordering office supplies
7. General office duties include: filing, faxing, typing letters, memos as well as distribution of all interoffice mail
8. Other duties as required
INTERNSHIP WORKSHOPS & END OF SEASON PROJECT:
1. After initial training, Interns will have continuous education provided on a monthly basis to go over different parts of the Club operations. For example, in November the Training and Development Manager will have a Workshop on Team building and Leadership skills.
2. Interns will be asked to write a brief blog about their experience as an F&B Intern each month and describe what knowledge they have gained.
3. Each workshop will assist in completing the end of season project. The project will not have to be done on the intern’s personal time.
The ideal candidate will be eager to learn and assist the entire HR team with any projects, and has an desire to work in the HR field in the future.
