Shuttle Driver Colleague Services Agent

As a member of the Colleague Services team, you will ensure the effective delivery of services to Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise employees and residents.  No day will be the same in this position and you will work a range of duties including janitorial, shuttle driving, uniform services and equipment rentals. You will meet hundreds of hotel colleagues who, just like you, are here to have an experience of a lifetime!

Summary of Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Colleague Services Manager, responsibilities include but are not limited to: 
 
  • Handling face to face and telephone enquiries from residents
  • Operating the colleague shuttle between the Chateau and Lake Louise village on a regular scheduled basis
  • Daily receipt, sorting, organizing and issuing of clean uniforms and dry cleaning items
  • Process soiled uniforms for delivery and receipt from cleaners
  • Effectively complete janitorial duties, including removing garbage and recycling, vacuuming and/or washing entrance floors and stairwells, walls, doors etc. throughout the public spaces of the staff accommodations
  • Deliver and remove furniture to/from staff residences as required
  • Daily pick-up and delivery of staff and hotel mail                                                         
  • Ensure the cleanliness of vacant units
  • Comply with all department policies, procedures, and service standards
  • Follow and proactively promote all health and safety policies and initiatives
  • Other reasonable duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a similar environment will be an asset, with a proven ability to provide professional, friendly and engaging service
  • Strong professional communication and interpersonal skills, and demonstrated ability to solve problems
  • Highly responsible and reliable, demonstrating initiative as required
  • Proven ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced, team-based environment
  • Must have a valid Canadian driver's licence -  you will be required to provide a current driver's abstract free of any serious demerit points
  • Willingness and ability to gain an Alberta Class 4 driver’s licence prior to, or within 2 months of beginning employment
  • Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, including:
    • Constant standing, walking, and bending throughout shift
    • Ability to lift, carry and move large and heavy items on a regular basis
    • Constant kneeling, pushing, pulling
  • Visa Requirements: Applicants must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
