Summary of Responsibilities: Reporting to the General Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Champion AccorHotel's Culture, Mission, Vision and Values.
Consistently find ways to enhance service levels and ensure that standards are exceeded.
Provide training, mentoring, coaching, and feedback to support the ongoing development of leaders within the rooms and food & beverage divisions.
Help to foster a highly skilled and engaged workforce built on a thoughtful, intuitive, and engaged service culture.
Lead Food & Beverage and support Director of Rooms Division in ensuring the highest levels of guest satisfaction, employee engagement and productivity.
Drive innovative promotions, menus and concepts; creating the destination of choice for both hotel and external guests.
Ensure the smooth operation and co-ordination of the operating departments through their respective Department Heads.
Participate actively in the preparation of the Annual Business Plan, Marketing Plan and Strategic Plan and achieve the objectives therein.
Ensure that monthly financial outlooks for rooms and food & beverage are accurate and on target; playing a lead role in yield management for the hotel.
Function as a key member of the Hotel Executive Committee and Leadership Team.
Take responsibility for all guest concerns with follow-up.
Responsible for the implementation and delivery of all brand operating standards.
Participate in the hotel emergency plan and crisis procedures, ensuring that each are up to date.
Assume the responsibility of the General Manager in his/her absence.
Coordinate planning and implementation of capital projects and budget.
Adhere to and promote all company Health & Safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
- Previous experience in a senior leadership role, within a similar hotel brand required
- Extensive Hotel operations experience required
- Demonstrated knowledge of budget planning and financial controls
- Computer literate in Microsoft Windows applications required
- University/College degree in a related discipline preferred
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
- Highly responsible & reliable
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
