ABOUT THE ROLE


We are currently looking for a passionate Groups and Conventions Manager, to join our Revenue Centre Department on a permanent basis, and help us to consistently deliver memorable moments and five star service to our guests and each other.


At The Landmark London, our purpose is to enrich the journeys of our people and our guests and as a Groups and Conventions Manager, your main duties will include:


·         To ensure that all contracts and correspondence relating to bookings are updated both in files and Opera. To ensure that, every service that might be required is offered proactively, through contact with Groups prior to their arrival.

·         To meet and greet VIPs and Groups, assisting them with check in and rooming if necessary. Also to help with preparing welcome letters and amenities.

·         To maintain frequent contact with the organiser from the moment of receiving the file and daily contact for the duration of their stay.

·         To attend relevant site inspections with any member of the Sales Team and/or Event Sales Team to review group requirements.

·         To produce a Group Summary sheet for each booking and circulate to all relevant departments within the Hotel minimum of one week before the arrival and definitely before the Groups Meeting (at present set to take place on Thursdays)

·         To communicate with the Food and Beverage department if an overflow Breakfast is required for Groups and to highlight all special group requests, i.e. amenities, mini-bars, dinner or drinks bookings

 

As a Groups and Conventions Manager, you will be required to work such hours as are necessary to fulfil your duties and in any event not less than 40 hours in each week.
