About the role
We are currently looking for a passionate Assistant Spa Manager to join our Health Club & Spa team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly and welcoming team on a permanent basis, and help us to consistently deliver memorable moments and five star service to our guests and each other.
At The Landmark London, our purpose is to enrich the journeys of our people and our guests and as a Assistant Spa Manager your main duties will include:
1 Assist the Spa Manager in financial requirements and retail sales are adhered to, the emphasis being on profitability by the Spa team.
2 Liaise with the Receptionists to ensure reconciliation of funds at the close of each shift, and that any discrepancy has been fully investigated and the findings logged in the appropriate place and the Spa Manager informed.
3 To be responsible for the administration of goods, requisition, inventories, and cost effective usage of all department related materials and assets.
4 Ensure a par stock appropriate to the business demands. Engaged in building relationship with suppliers to maximize support.
5 Assist the Spa Manager in evaluating the Spa’s position in the market.
6 To organize scheduling to maximize use of time and ensure maximum profitability whilst ensuring that the client’s needs are of first importance.
7 To issue recommendations regarding operating budget, planning and evaluations of financial performance, including reports on sales and operations with supporting statistical data in relation to reception and treatments.
8 To take full management responsibilities within the Spa in the absence of the Spa Manager.
9 Provide the update to manuals, workbooks, to ensure that all operational procedures are carried out in the prescribed manner.
10 To ensure that the facility is adequately manned at all times. Assist the Spa Manager in co-ordinating the day to day running of the Spa.
