What are we looking for?

Maximize overall hotel revenue and profit through development and implementation of effective inventory and pricing strategies based on future demand forecasts, current trends and historical data. Responsible for determining the optimal mix of business and managing distribution strategies on all channels to increase revenue and drive market share. Communicate revenue management strategic vision to leadership team at hotel.

Accountable Duties

• To act as knowledge expert and a highly informed communicator on both internal and external revenue management matters;
• To carry out and submit all required forecasts of occupancy, rate and yield in order, in conjunction with the Director of Revenue, to provide accurate management information at corporate and hotel level;
• To implement and carry out rooms revenue procedures, in conjunction with the DORM, in order to achieve and exceed budgeted yield premium;
• To develop and maintain effective communication practices across all revenue generating areas in order to support the achievement of the hotel strategy;
• To support and monitor the Reservations, Sales and Front Office Teams through the monitoring and implementation of SOPs;
• To work in conjunction with several departments to create and load packages/actions for key periods;
• To support the Sales and Marketing Team and Food and Beverage Team with analysis and recommendations designed in order to achieve and exceed budgeted yield premium;
• To host the weekly revenue meeting, in conjunction with the Director of Revenue, in which hotel performance, outlook and tactical strategies is discussed to optimize revenue across all revenue generating areas;
• To set individual and group room rates in conjunction with the Director of Revenue;
• To produce weekly forecast reports/monthly analysis of the previous month in conjunction with the Director of Revenue;
• To load rates and packages;
• To manage all distribution channels (Website, OTAs, Wholesalers and GDS) in terms of rates and room availability;
• To manage PMS, CRS and RMS Systems on the daily bases;
• To work closely with Sales, Front Office and Reservations Team in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing on the overall success of the hotel;
• To monitor the F&B outlets and ensure we maximise all business opportunities;
• To be conversant with all events both in London and elsewhere that affect the availability and demand of the hotel and to translate this information into the selling capabilities of the hotel;
• To review Hotelligence and Demand 360 reports to uncover new business opportunities for the Sales team;
• To review STR performance and set strategies with the S&M team, in conjunction with the Director of Revenue, to drive focused business opportunities;
• Set & update rate strategy per market segment on 12 months rolling basis in conjunction with the Director of Revenue;
• To provide the hotel with accurate information on competitor prices, business trends, availability, etc.
