The Trade Marketeer is responsible for developing and executing the trade marketing activities across the different retail channels in Belgium, in line with the overall Trade Marketing & Marketing strategy.
In having shopper & customer (retailer) satisfaction as main priority, you are the contact person between Marketing, Licensing (product) & the Sales team to ensure achievement of sales & budget objectives.
You will leverage the internal resources within The Walt Disney Company to create a unique and differentiated brand experience at retail for shoppers & consumers and to respond to the new consumer/buying habits in a digital world.
You will become part of the Benelux Integrated Retail team of The Walt Disney Company, the business area that combines Licensing, Publishing & Home Entertainment. You will work across different categories in Licensing (Fashion, Home, Toys, Stationery, FMCG) and different retail channels (Toys Specialists, Grocery, Entertainment specialists). The role reports into the Benelux Head of Trade marketing.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Head of Trade Marketing and the Marketing manager for the conceptualization, planning & budgeting, production and implementation of all in store activities (incl. POS & Loyalty promotions) & online executions
Lead the relationship with all internal stakeholders and work in close collaboration with Marketing, Sales, Digital and Research in order to develop the most compelling & differentiated strategies by retail channel
Collaborate with Sales teams to turn the “selling stories” into sales tools to effectively present our Brands, Characters and Marketing initiatives to their customers
Identify & develop necessary Point of Sales tools to increase Brand & Character presence, market share and improve customer & shopper satisfaction
Monitor & evaluate Trade Marketing programs and activities
Ensure efficient spending of central Trade budgets
At least 2-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a multinational environment
Knowledge of marketing & trade marketing activities, tools & techniques
Proven project management skills
Experience in Toy retail & Grocery is an advantage
Languages: Dutch (native speaker), French & English
